our pastor

 Dr. Delois Williams Washington-Curry

Is a profound teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She takes the truth of God's Word and make it become a reality in the lives of her members and many others that she touches with her ministry. She shows us the benefits of becoming doers of the 'Word' and not hearers only. She has a "no holds barred" teaching method that leaves us with the unction to make proper choices. Dr. Curry works very diligently to train her staff and elders to become excellent in ministry in both lifestyle and presentation. She teaches holiness as a lifestyle. She also teaches that the key to success both academically and spiritually is development of the whole man; body, soul and spirit by the Word of God [III John 1:2].

Dr. Curry holds Doctorate in Christian Education and Counseling and also a General Bible diploma in Evangelism from Bethel Bible Institute of Jamaica, NY. She holds an A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice and certified Rape and Abuse counselor.

Dr. Curry is the CEO of Stone of Help Community Developmental Corporation. She is the founder of the Stone of Help Bible College where she functions as Dean of Instruction. She is a covenant member of the Pastor's Prayer Group in Sanford, NC. She is also a covenant member of The United Pentecostal Council of The Assemblies of God [UPCAG] where Pastor Thomas Barclay is our International Presiding Elder. She is a faithful member of The Southern District New Covenant Fellowship, Inc. where she is the ordained Presiding Elder of North Carolina.

She is the proud mother of 4 children, two daughters-in-law, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren along with 8 step-grands.

Pastor Delois served faithfully with her husband in ministry, the late Pastor Glenn W. Williams Sr. who was the founder. The ministry was established in 1968 under the United Pentecostal Assemblies of God.

With three small children, Pastor Glenn and his wife Delois moved back to North Carolina from Bridgeport, Connecticut to do what God said. He immediately began to establish a ministry which began with his wife, children, his mother, siblings and a few people from the neighborhood.

Pastor Glenn had a true passion for winning souls and was always willing to lead someone to Christ. He would have home crusades within the community where countless souls came to Christ. He was truly blessed of the Lord to become a scholar of the Word of God. After getting the ministry established, he was then able to began an extension of Bethel Bible Institute of Jamacia, New York here in Sanford where many of the pastors in the Sanford and surrounding areas today were graduates of Bethel Bible Institute. He also ran tent revivals teaching and preaching the Word of God.

Before Pastor Glenn went home to be with the Lord in 1993, he passed the ministry mantle to Pastor Delois just as Moses did with Joshua to continue the work of the ministry for which Ebenezer was founded upon, the Word of God.
